Are you in the mood for some great food and a fun show, filled with laughter and song? Then the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show is exactly what you need!

When you’re visiting Pigeon Forge, you must take in one of these shows. Lunch or dinner, your choice!  The show is based, loosely, on the story of the Hatfield and McCoy feud and is very entertaining. Dancing, singing and jokes galore! Some audience participation, especially when they bring the kids up on stage to dance and play instruments with the cast.

The audience is split in the middle…one side being Hatfields and the other, the McCoys. We were on the Hatfield side and I must say, our server, cuzzin

Willem Bagchus with Cuzzin Shaggy

Shaggy was fabulous! We had a wonderful time with him, joking right back with him and getting him to laugh too. He took great care of us and kept us well fed and watered! Bringing us a meal of fried chicken, pulled pork, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, beans and more…which of course was described as opossum soup, yard bird etc… haha! The meal was fabulous! Not easy to eat while you’re laughing so hard though!

After each show, you have the opportunity to purchase a DVD of the show you had just watched. They record each one so you get the one you attended! The gift shop is great, in true hillbilly fashion they have all kinds of fun goodies and souvenirs to purchase. I, myself, want the homemade hillbilly wineglass! (You’ll have to see it to understand)

Do yourself a favour, when in Pigeon Forge, get yourself over to the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show, it really is a great treat! High energy cast, lots of fun and a barrel of laughs! And don’t forget, the amazing food!
