Exploring the Florida Keys: Setting the Mood

The Florida Keys are a chain of islands only 110 miles long. The famed Overseas Highway allows you to drive from Key Largo at the top to Key West at the bottom in about three hours – but that would be foolish.

Take your time. There’s no reason to rush.

You can conjure up the spirit of Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn with a ride on the actual African Queen, hand-feed a tarpon the size of an professional basketball player, visit a turtle hospital, help replant a coral forest and see some of the most spectacular sunsets of a lifetime.

To set that sunset mood, here are two photo from one of the Florida Keys’ most popular restaurants, Latitudes on Sunset Key, which is part of the Westin resort in Key West.
